Who Are We ?
We are designers, event organizers and change makers leveraging 20 years of combined experience in event management, bionomical design and sustainable strategies.
My name is Jo Semo, I was born in Paris, France
I discovered permaculture in 2001 in Buenos Aires (Argentina) during the economic crackdown. After a decade producing musical events around the globe, I launched We Love Future in 2013, a series of mini documentaries about ecovillages and self-sustained systems.
The same year, I graduated from the Permaculture Institute in the field of education, design, site development and community service.
I became a passionate advocate of food sovereignty and environmental strategies.
I have since worked extensively in tropical climates for the development of various projects in Peru, Indonesia and Thailand.
I design homes and gardens with integrated systems such as water and waste management, sustainable energies and food production.

CONSULTING
Whether you are looking for a property evaluation to understand the strengths and weaknesses of your land, or need a design and layout for your property, or facing practical challenges on soil improvement, vegetable garden establishment, nursery setup… we can provide you with personalized support and insights tailored to your specific project.
We propose 2 types of consulting:
2a. Walk and talk consultation offers practical strategies to transform your environment into a thriving ecosystem (food, energy, water, household products, seeds,…).
This involves us visiting your property to chat with you and anyone else living there about your plans and expectations for your land.
We will go over your time, energy and financial budgets, discuss your needs and what elements would work best for you.
What do you get ?
1:1 property assessment
Verbal discussion of your needs and the needs of your land
Tour of your land to discuss options and give you a direction for the next steps
2 to 10 hours off site research (depending on the size of your land)
2 to 5 pages summary report for you to build upon.
What does it cost ?
Starts from 4000 THB upward (subject to scope and land size)
Who is it for ?
For individuals / communities with a goal of sustainable development or just want a low maintenance food producing garden.
2b. Permaculture design consultation aims to establish a creative custom design called a master plan. The master plan gives a medium/long term vision on the project as well as the necessary elements for its realization.
The foremost goal of this master plan is to integrate the human-made system (e.g., a garden, farm, or homestead) harmoniously with the natural ecosystem.
A well-designed permaculture system should be functional and resilient, It should provide for the needs of its inhabitants while maintaining a high degree of flexibility to evolve and adapt over time. The aim is to create a self-sustaining, closed-loop system where waste is minimized and natural energies are maximized.
How does it work ?
First, we will send you a questionnaire over email, asking about your time, energy, budget, expectations and plans of your property.
Then, we will explore the land together, discuss elements you would like to include and options that suit your lifestyle. We need to understand the site-specific characteristics to tailor permaculture solutions to the unique needs of the location.
Once you agree on the master plan, we can provide a project team throughout all aspects of the construction process or we can work along with your own contractor to create something that is unique to your context.
What do you get ?
1:1 site assessment (including climatic analysis, cartography, topography, soil quality, sun exposure, existing vegetation and more)
Latest photographic mapping
15 to 30 pages development plan (zoning) with sketches and annexes including all the elements necessary to carry out the project.
Educational resources are an integral part of the design. We encourage the client to learn about and actively participate in the permaculture design, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility for the sustainable practices implemented on the site.

These are achievements such as ecosystem restoration, preservation program, cultivation of organic plots, revegetation of urban spaces, vertical gardens, etc.
We have a long history of delivering projects predominantly based in schools and restaurants, hotels, NGOs and community groups.
JUNGLE FARM
Explore Phangan “behind the seen”
We are building a jungle farm combined with a permaculture garden.
Now open to members and visitors, our jungle farm features several unique areas including a large wooden hut, four-beds vegetable garden following a crop rotation and an orchard with a backdrop of the surrounding mountains, native plants, bees and sacred trees.
Our jungle farm is a unique place for a short retreat, connect with the earth, go for a meditative walk, learn about organic gardening, harvest from the fields and enjoy the simple delicious pleasures of truly homemade meals in tropical jungle surroundings.
